55-year-old man from India’s Odisha state has stunned many after an unusual incident at a bank while attempting to withdraw about ₹24,842 (around GH¢2,935) from his late sister’s savings account. According to reports, bank officials repeatedly asked him to present the account holder in person before they could process the withdrawal, despite his explanation that she had passed away. Frustrated and unaware of the proper legal procedures, he reportedly went to the extreme of exhuming his sister’s grave and taking her remains to the bank as proof of death, leaving both staff and the public in shock.
